Debbie Abader (nee Kops) has been in the funeral industry for over 27 years and dedicated 20 years thereof to the establishment of a funeral home in Walmer, where she formed valuable relations with various ministers, churches, frail care facilities, hospitals and charitable organizations.

She then launched Gift of Dignity Funeral Services in 2011 and operates independently from her fully compliant premises, which is based off 2nd Avenue, in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth
